CI performance dashboard #1182
Description
Maintained by the CI profiler routine, which runs every 4h. Each run replaces this body and carries the history rows over.
Headline (run 2026-10-16 00:16 UTC)
Window: 2026-10-15 00:16 → 2026-10-16 00:16. The run list reaches back to 01:14 (300 of 320 runs). 21 PRs merged. All 19 merge_group CI runs succeeded: 0 evictions, 0 failures, 0 re-runs. No merges since 19:59: the evening was PR pushes only.
- The slow Depot hosts lasted the whole afternoon and evening, 14h–23h. Slow-start share of Depot Linux jobs, per hour: 13h 62% (18/29), 14h 10% (24/249), 15h 76% (66/87), 16h 32%, 17h 71%, 18h 25%, 19h 71% (35/49), 20h 73% (29/40), 21h 53% (10/19), 22h 17% (5/30), 23h 80% (24/30). ci-okin 9.28–11.45 min and used 45.9–53.3 job-min. With no slow jobs: 7.50–8.05 min and 31.4–35.4 job-min. For merge_group runs: 10.27–11.12 on slow hosts against 7.43–9.03 on fast hosts. New numbers are on #1512, which still needs a human to raise it with Depot. - No new issues. Nothing closed. Nothing new cleared the bar (see "Other items watched"). One PR
coveragefailure (38806080761,fix/scan-unpin-withdrawn-patchesat 268e0ed) went green on the branch's next commit. That looks like a real failure in that PR, not CI waste.
Sample: 300 of 320 runs in 24h (the 3-page cap reaches back to 10-15 01:14, 23 h). Job detail (filter=all) for 67 runs: all 19 CI merge_group runs, all 15 push runs, and every third CI pull_request run (33, of which 12 full runs). Method notes
- GraphQL is blocked in this environment, so merge-queue state comes from REST timelines of merged PRs. The timelines use the last enqueue before the merge.
- Jobs are fetched with
filter=all. Queue wait = jobstarted_at−created_at; skipped jobs are excluded. "Start-up gap" = jobstarted_at→ first stepstarted_at; over 15 s counts as a slow host. - Critical path = merge_group run
